Air Instrument Bundle Inoperable | Big Sur

Please disregard the last message as I went into my Avid Account and managed to further download the 2019 version of the Air Instrument Installer. All of my instruments are now working properly.

My only problem now is that when I quick save and use UVI Falcon, I keep getting this dialogue. I'm able to save my presets and sessions, i suspect. However, The dialogue continues to pop up whenever I save session and preset.

AIR stuff is working for me in PT, but their AU is still broken and their support is close to impossible to reach. Avid only answers of AAX plugins, which to repeat myself are working here on Apple Silicon.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. This is why I don't update AIR instruments. It's one of the most bizarre bundles I've ever encountered, with every component (finding the installers, authorizing, finding updates, etc) being unnecessarily cryptic and difficult, and a non-existent tech support dept. if there are problems, and there will very likely be problems if you update.

Strike, Velvet, Loom etc are not part of of Avid's Air bundle ( that bundle is only-- Boom, DB, Vacuum, Mini Grand and Structure Free) You may have gotten them or other Air instruments from Avid Promos in the past , but you have to access them from the AIR website directly... Which I agree is arguably one of most atrocious and convoluted web site on the internets ......

I believe these were part of the "Instrument Expansion Pack" (There were several version of the pack) this was sold separately and NOT part of the free AIR bundles. Check your account for any software to download in the Instrument Expansion Pack section. As others have mentioned, since AIR is a separate company now, the update process is convoluted for those that got the Instrument Expansion Pack while it was part of Avid. (My memory of how this transition happened is vague, so I may have things confused)

I bought their stuff, and It took a few emails to get all the links to installers.

Big surs security shyt doesnt help ... but this company is probably some tiny piece of their bigger investment thing. hence the f off part of interface/login my stuff.. etc

I dont use the drums/strike... but when I did.. they map not in line with EVERY other drm inst... C1 =kick

Air Instruments are a curse to Pro Tools. Their goal is to eat your time & make you feel stupid.
I've owned most all of their crud. In Music seemed to make things even worse - if that's possible. The only one I still use is DB33. The Arturia B3 is far more vast, but I've done many old sessions with the DB33 - hence my need to figure out if it's safe to install on Mac Studio Ultra/Monterey/latest P Tools>
Long ago it was pretty wonderful and then it started heading downhill fast.
I am incredibly gun shy about Air Instruments.
