That's an interesting question. No doubt the took a hit with the recent fiasco and lost a few users in the process.

Not all of the torch and pitchfork wielding mob would have left after they reinstated the perpetual licenses I'm sure.The 25% off WUP may even be a little redeeming to some of them.

Upgrades for perpetual (non-subscription) plugins and bundles will return soon.

It seems that when Waves decided to go subscription only the went "all in" on it, which obviously proved to be a bad gamble on their part. It seems they tore down other parts of their purchase infrastructure without anticipating backlash.

My "speculation" is they had to reincorporate the whole purchase and upgrade options into Central, their licensing engine and the online store. Because they have other things on their plate it will probably just take a little bit of time. Again, just speculating.
