Default \"Edit MIDI Setup\" Setup Menu Item is Missing!

I have added a MIDI track that I intend to output through my external MOTU MIDI Express XT interface, but the XT interface is not showing up on the output drop-down list in the Mixer screen ... All I see are "MPU-401" and "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth" as output options for my MIDI tracks.

How do I get Pro Tools to understand that MIDI should be routed through the MIDI Express XT?

My Pro Tools 6.1 LE Ignite! book says that there is an "Edit MIDI Studio Setup" option under the Setups menu, but this item simply does not appear on my menu. I guess this is where I would tell Pro Tools about the XT interface. What could be going on here?
