I had my wireless keyboard on my lap but then it fell and somehow certain keys were depressed and Pro Tools (LE 8) closed.
After restarting it, and opening the session again, I noticed an EQ plugin is highlighted in Gold. I thought somehow they keyboard entered some kind of command that made this happen in the session, but it's there now always now; old sessions, blank sessions too. What does this mean and how do I get rid of it? Thanks. |

This most likely means that you have a control surface activated in the Peripherals dialog box. The color around the plugin probably indicates that a control surface has "focus" on it. Check the MIDI Controllers dialog or the Ethernet Controllers dialog in Setup > Peripherals.
