S3 Talkback Button and Eucon Monitor Section

Since we have to wait some more time for the EuCon update I drop in another feature request. (I know, it's not gonna happen, but who knows...)
The "Mix To Mons" button is used for Talkback only. And it only works for the internal Talkback. The mic pres of my S3 stopped working and I started using my LIO8 as a monitor controller which works with Eucon. Now I have the monitor section on an iPad which has nice Input and Output select buttons and a tiny tiny talkback button and an even smaller main volume knob.
So my suggestion would be to use the huge empty space in the center of the monitor section for something more useful and maybe add the "Mix to Mons" button to the regular soft keys, so I could assign it to my talkback or something else. Now it's just a useless button at a perfect spot

Bumping this up because I don't understand how the talkback is supposed to work. I see the button that is used for talkback in the Soft Keys tab, but I can't select it. "Mix to Mons" is the Talkback button on the S3, but it won't engage the Eucon command "Talkback" !!??!! I could assign the Eucon command "Talkback" to the Solo Clear but I want to use Solo Clear...
Is this intended behaviour? It would be great to have the S3 TB function in sync with the Eucon Talkback...

What EUCON monitor App are you trying to use with the talkback button?

Hi Eddie,

I'm using a Metric Halo LIO interface that supports Eucon. I can use the talkback button on my Avid Control app, but it would be perfect to be able to use the "Mix to Mons" Talkback button from the S3 and the best way would be to have the attached footswitch react to talkback as well (when set to talkback in the prefs). When my S3 mic pres were still working I had a switch connected to the footswitch jack to have a talkback button for the "producers couch".

Yes it works! Thanks for pointing that out. It's a bit weird that it only works if the TB engage is NOT set to footswitch. Is there a reason why the "Mix to Mons" button doesn't engage Talkback ?

Yes, the audio i/o is separate, but the "Mix to Mons" button is shown in the EuControl Softkey editor, so it would be great to be able to use it for something. Can I make a feature request?

So, you should be able to assign the EUCON Talkback button to it. Does the softkey work on a different button?
