Default Normalize Audio Suite malfunctioning

I believe this has been an issues from 2202.06 to current .10.

Basically I'm using the Normalize Audio Suite plug to select a bunch of takes of the same vocal phrase, and normalize all of them the same peak or rms. Using “clip by clip” is supposed to analyize each file individually + "create individual files” + “use in playlist”. It used to work in some previous versions. Was a really fast way to clip gain files.
Anyone else having this issue or am I missing something obvious?

Ok, good to know it's not just my system.

Your needs may be different than mine, but I almost never use Normalize. For music mixes(what I do), the last thing I need is hotter tracks. If a track was recorded too low, I use Clip Gain to bring it up to fit the rest of the audio

At first, I read the title as an imperative. It's OK that Audio Suite malfunctions. It's normal!

Actually, I'm not normalizing to "0"... rather, the normalize plug can be used to set ANY peak or RMS level. For ex. let's say you prefer all guitars have a -18RMS level... use the Normalize plug to do it for you rather than hand adjusting each or having to calculate the difference needed to set the GAIN plugin.

The problem is that the Normalize Audio Suite plug is malfunctioning from what it's supposed to do. Argg.

Curious if these are 'whole file' clips or not? Might help to get a session or at least repro steps and a screenshot of all the Normalize settings. Is there a support case yet?

To answer the initial question, normalize clip by clip creating individual files works OKAY for me in 2022.10.

The other part of the question, when I happened to test the operation, the middle clip was clip gained down, so the peak didn't seem to match the other normalized clip peak visually. Is that "obvious" thing eluding you? When I cleared those clip gains, the peaks displayed the same level.

These are not whole clips. What I'm attempting to do is select several takes of a vocal phrase and normalize them all to the same peak level... in this case -12db. See attached screen shots of the takes and my settings. I'm wondering if maybe I have some setting wrong or if there's a glitch happening.

I didn't have any clip gain +/- in this scenario but thanks for asking. Always worth double checking.
