Default Nicer Fader Caps for Euphonix/Mix Series

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to post the link to the metallized, "ProControl" styled fader caps that I replaced my Artist Series with.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Prof-FADER-K...t_1399&afsrc=1

I got the ribbed, brushed, finish ones that are 18.5mm x 1.2mm. They are a little wider than the Artist Series fader caps too.

Randy

I just ordered some of these!

I sent the seller an email after the sale, specifying the "Stucture = Ribbed Brushed Finish", and "Lever Type = T-Lever (18.5 x 1.2 mm)”! I hope that was the right way to order these?

Anyway... I'm assuming the Mix and the Control fader levers are the same? Doh!

I guess i'll find out huh?

Thanks!

Yea... I agree about the space being tighter, and also being a bit of an adjustment! I'm sure I'll get used to it!

Just use light force and pry them up from the bottom or top with your fingers. You set the new ones the same way.

New Fader Caps In!

I had a short scare... The slot that the T-lever slides into is shorter than the one on the stock caps, but upon closer inspection... the new fader caps fit although very snugly!

They look great, but I don't know if they are any better than the original caps!

The sharper corners give a little more tactile feedback (less likely to slip) letting you know your finger isn't centered, but I'll have to use them a little longer to see if the purchase was actually worth it for me!

One note though about shipping from this company... they shipped via Deutsche Post, so the tracking number I received (I thought) was only useful until the package was handed over to the international carrier in Frankfurt, but after some investigation... I found out that once the package was handed over to the USPS (United States Postal Service) I was able to track the package from their website using the original tracking number!

The package arrived from Germany to Tampa, US in 16 days! Which, from my understanding is very good!
