FW 800 Enclosure Oxford Chip
Hey guys,
I'm on the hunt for a new external SATA enclosure. What is the most highly recommended one around here that will be great with Pro Tools? Thanks! Sig

I recommend you G-Technology drives. Have 2 of them and they are faster and more reliable than others I used to have (Lacie, Macaly).

Avoid RAID-0 enclousures. They will double the fail risk.

I have this one from Sans Digital
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16816111022 It has a nice big cooling fan on the back. I think Sans Digital is not longer making them . But they still have the 2-bay enclosure. Cheers
