imac and digi003 project studio?
hi im new to this forums and i use m powered pro tools into a macbook pro 2.53ghz and 4gb ram, at my college i use an HD3 icon bases studio and im interested in have my own project studio...i'm planning to buy a digi 003 factory and i wanna know if the new imac 3.06ghz and 4gb ram it's enough for pro tools le, i wanna be able to record 16 simultaneous channels and mix and master and everything else right in the box, currently on my macbook i don't have major issues working with up to 48audio tracks and arround 96-100plug ins just a lil bit slower response, so i wanna know if i can get the job done using an Imac or do i go to the basic mac pro quad? thanks
