Does a boxed copy of Pro Tools HD include version 12 and/or the Avid Support Plan?
So I'm looking to get on the Avid Support plan for Pro Tools HD but I'm not sure if I need to purchase anything new or not...
I have an unopened boxed copy of Pro Tools HD without a version number on it that came with hardware I bought. If I register it will I get a Pro Tools 12HD license bundle AND 1 year of the Avid Support & Upgrade Plan or will I have to spend another $600 on a year of the plan? If that's the case I would just purchase the $600 upgrade for my existing PTHD 11 license. Does anyone know if unregistered boxed copies of PT HD come with a year of the support plan? That should provide a Pro Tools HD Annual Upgrade Plan and a Pro Tools HD 10/11/12 license bundle. I started a support case for you in case you have any trouble. Look for a case notice email in a few mins.
