Cursor lag in 7.3

I just upgraded to 7.3, and noticed that I'm getting a lag in cursor when beginning playback, and the play button on the transport is flashing for about 4 bars before staying solid. The pre post bottons are not lit either. I may just be missing a function to turn on/off in prefs or operations, anyone else having this issue? Annoying me at the moment...
