digidesign midi i/o Help me

i purchased a midi i/o need help ...i have it connected to mac it shows up in midi studio my question is do i midi it to digi 002 i dont have many midi devices but have plans to get more this is what i have digi 002, pro tools 8 triton, fantom, motif, mpc 4000 i want to not have to keep moving midi cables...please help with what would be the best way to hook everything up

Hi,

You should be good to go! if its showing in the AMS then it should be showing in pro tools as a midi i/o device so you can connect your midi devices directly to it and no need to use the 002.
