Default 3d picture playback

Hi folks,
I am headed into new territory.
Client has a 3d project for Nat Geo.
What codec do you request and can my BM intensity kick out 3d via hdmi to my new 3d projector? Panasonic 7000.
Thanks,
Brian

depends which BM card you have and which method of 3D you're using. If you're using side-by-side, it's just a regular video until it gets to the projector. If it's the sequential type, you need the BM Decklink Extreme 3D. Pro Tools may not like video in that format though, so probably best to stick to side-by-side.

Hi,
I requested and am using Side by Side Pro Res 422 (HD) 1920x1080 QT video files for 3D work.
I use a BM Intensity Pro card via HDMI to an LG 3D monitor and I'm happy with the results.
Not sure about your projector variables though.
Good luck.
