I was wondering if any of you guys have tried the new Amplitube plugins and does it crush using the good ol' POD?

Re: Amplitube 2 and the POD
There's different variations of POD's out there but IMO AT2 is better. Be warned though, AT2 is very CPU hungry. Hope you have a fast machine. Guitar Rig 2 is very good also. Do some demoing and see for yourself.
Good luck. |

Re: Amplitube 2 and the POD
Personally, I love my Amplitube 2!! I usually track my guitars with a mic and direct line. Amplitube has let me not worry so much about tone while tracking and let me concentrate on the performance.
As far as CPU usage, I can run 5 or 6 instances of it with my buffer set to 1024 before I have any problems (on a dual-core AMD machine).
