My UPS died?
I left my equipment on a couple of days, and when I came back my UPS had died. If I push the on button it will light up and a beep sound occurs, but when I let go it dies again. This is a MGE Pulsar Ellipse 800 UPS. Also, if I hold the on button in, there is power in the outlets.
I've used it lightly, meaning that only the G5 and two external FW drives were connected. So, throw it out, or can it be fixed?

Re: My UPS died?
The usual problem is that the battery stops holding a charge, so you might need to replace the battery. Sometimes the replacement battery costs more than buying a new UPS.
