Are you saying 48 tracks in Pro Tools 7? That would be awesome. Come on double trackin' and layerin' lol....

It would def be great to have more tracks, but honestly if whatever you are doing cant be done with the 32 tracks now, you gotta be doing something wrong. Some of the greatest albums ever recorded were done on 8 tracks..........MORE IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER!!!!!!!!!...

true, BUT: its EASIER!!
in a regular Rock Pop Band Setup I have around 14 -20 Tracks Drums, 3 Tracks Bass, around 4-6 Tracks Acoustic Guitars, around 6-8 Tracks Electric Guitars, 4-6 Tracks Keys, 8-12 Tracks Backing Vocals, around 4 Tracks of Lead Vocals, and then some other Fill in Stuff maybe... so see for yourself!!!
in my case, Yes, MORE IS BETTER!
I really hope for the 48 or even 64 Tracks... but I´ll get a HD next year anyway

There is no mention of additional voices in the LE software. It will continue to be 32 voices only.

Hey CF,

I respect your opinion but I can't agree with this kind of talk like, "Beatles did it on just 4 tracks!!! " Do you really think Sir. George Martin, Geoff Emerick and the boys would limit their creativity on just 4 tracks if they had at that time a ProTools System or any 24 track machine? I don't think so, They would use whatever they had to the limit. There are several way to produce a record, there is nothing wrong about using 100 tracks or just 4. What really matters is the final result. I'm sorry but the way music production is doing nowadays 32 tracks are not enough for the most songs.
