Default How Do I Use Virtual Instruments As Plugins In PT 7.4 LE

I just bought the eastwest Goliath product and after installing went into pro tools le 7.4 to try it out. I went to:

new track>stereo>audio track>samples

then went to

the mixer>insert>multichannel plugin

but i cannot find goliath, eastwest, or anything closely related to pull from. Can someone tell me what I am missing here? Understand I am not technical and not an expert at pro tools so kinda walk me through.
Thanks!

Is this with the Play or Kompact or Structure player?

It's been resolved. I thought I had UAC clicked off when I installed the new update version. Once I turned off then did the update the RTAS component was installed and everything worked.

I do have a side question on this though...

How do I use these new virtual instruments on already prerecorded tracks? I have several songs that I want to update strings, drums, etc but when I inserted VI in the mixer on that track nothing happens. The instrument doesnt play no sound on that track, etc.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Pre-recorded MIDI tracks?

You'll probably have to change the MIDI output to your new plug-in.

It is right at the top of the instrument track. If you can't see it, you'll have to show it: Views>Mix Window Views>Instruments

If you're using a MIDI track the ouput selector is in the central I/O section.
