Default QuickTime Pro best settings for video in PT2019.10 Ultimate

Yes, I still use QT Pro to convert movies to work with in PT. However I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing converting files... I know the prefered format is DNxHD but that's all. There are so many settings in QT that I'm lost... Some of them are obvious but some things I don't understand. Can somebody show me on an example setting window what to set and where? I have the Intensity Pro card and output movies on a TV set via HDMI.

My concern is that I sometimes work with different FPS and I don't understand why the setting is once set to current and in another window it is specidied that it is this or that? Which setting of the DNxHD is right for me? There are plenty of...

What I want to achieve:
- movie to display smoothly on a 1920x1080 TV
- FPS is dependant on the input format (do I have to set it each time or will it be really as in one of this window 'current'?)

Thank you in advance!

Those are all the settings I use, except I use DNxHD 36 8-bit.

Thanks!

But what is the meaning of those fps settings while choosing 38 8 bit?

I did a research in the net regarding the settings and I still don't know the details. As Ryan said the DNxHD 36 8bit is the prefered setting. But I also would like to know which of the qt setting for the dimensions, data rate and frame rate will be in the resulting movie?

When you 'export' in QT you get a window, then besides the name you choose 'movie to qt movie' and click 'options', then you can choose size, filter, settings. So first of all I can set size here and then when you click 'settings' you have these 2 parts:

MOTION

where you can set the frame rate
where you can set data rate

COMPRESSOR

where you also set the frame rate.
where you also set data rate
where you set the size

Which size, data rate and which frame rate will be held in the resulting movie?

I'm interested in it because I do work for tv, film, games worldwide so sometimes I need 25 frames, sometimes 24, sometimes 60 and sometimes 23.97...
