Re: Digi-002-Rack - question
Kirk, Boulder, one of my favorite places.... Your best bet for the 002R is Alto Music (NY, 845-692-6922) They had the best price, and best service at the time I bought mine (6 mo.s ago), and I've done other business with them since... good bunch of people, do a search and you'll find other recommendations for them within the groups. As far as the bundles go, I'm not sure what is currently shipping, Alto might be able to answer that. I did see a 002R package that was slightly more money, but included a load of plugs (the Bomb Factory Stuff and a mess of others). Good luck with the PB setup, mine is working out great... needed the portability of this combination for remote recording and it's been rock solid for me. Hope this helps, Dave

Re: Digi-002-Rack - question
I second the Alto Music recommendation-- I got mine there as well. Great price, service, and people from my experience.

Re: Digi-002-Rack - question
Hey Dave,
Nice to see you hanging around gear slutz. I've been so happy with my guitar rig, I stopped hanging out at gearpage. I got my 002R off ebay new in the box for $1050 from MusicStore4Less. Look up that seller and you should be good to go. I registered with digi & have been getting great support. Good communication, shipping and price from musicstore4less. Looking at your blog, you might want to look into www.lavryengineering.com for the converter stuff. Problem with 002R is that those lavry's don't output clock down spdif. Without that, the 002R cannot be clocked externally. The lavry converters and expandability will serve you for the long term though (when we've moved on to the next digi system). I'm dealing with clocking mine externally right now myself & need to find something that takes wordclock from a lucid clock and outputs down spdif. Anyway gotta run to the gig. Best of luck, Eric |
