Re: 003 PT 9 and 6086 errors
Oh man,
This is getting really deep now, looking into this a bit more, I never noticed that there are new device drivers for the 003 Family of hardware for PT9. I never installed those, but the DIGI003 seems to be recognized by PT9 just fine. (except for the 6086 errors) Should I download the new drivers? what is the procedure on a mac to install the new drivers? Should try to uninstall the old ones, or is that just a PC thing? |

Re: 003 PT 9 and 6086 errors
I installed the 003 family drivers first without uninstalling the old ones, did the re-start, then installed the le upgrade, another re-start, then the registration(pita)... everything works fine... so far

Re: 003 PT 9 and 6086 errors
Someone else suggested that having a firewire 800 hooked up can cause this to happen also. I never knew that.

Re: 003 PT 9 and 6086 errors
Can I do a clean install of PT9 without having to reinstall all the plug ins?

Re: 003 PT 9 and 6086 errors
Which plugins? I didn't have to install my plugs, but I didn't do an erase and install, I just updated PT8. But everything is working fine. Try to get 8 working again, plugins and all, then do the 9 upgrade which will probably update your bundled plugins as well. As for me, all the Dyn3, and Eq3 plugs etc seem the same. My 3rd party plugs work as usual, without reinstalling.

Re: 003 PT 9 and 6086 errors
I'm getting this a lot with a 002R on a Mac Pro 4,1.
Before I get the error message, I'm getting a SWOD Spinning Wheel of Death (beach ball) for sometimes 2 minutes. It doesn't seem to be associated with play/record, though, sometimes I get the SWOD when just doing a fade or an AudioSuite Process. In these cases, I don't get the -6086 error though. I don't have anything connected to the firewire but the 002Rack. |
