Diagnose The Error Message
My System: MBP 2.4, 4Gigs Ram, MBox 2, External Firewire Drive.
My Session: 5 Audio tracks, 4 of them with compressors on them. When I open the Jazz kit in kontakt (i'm using an instrument track) a short while through I get ye old "Running out of CPU power" Message. Is this just an issue with Kontakt needing an update? Any workaround? |

Re: Diagnose The Error Message
Just for the hell of it, I opened the session back up after posting, and then was able ot make 2 kontakt tracks without any trouble.
In activity monitor I saw that i was only using 20% max when recording them. I'm a bit bewildered. I hate to think its a drive issue. The drive is a 250Gig Seagate at 7200RPM with an Acomdata firewire 400 enclosure. Seems liekit should be fine, or at least shouldnt cause cpu errors. Anyway, looking for any input. |
