HELP! Mbox Mini Pro Tools Express with Axiom 25

I am in need of help...PLEASE....I am begging.

I am using a MacBook Pro 10.8 with Mbox Mini Pro Tools Express with Axiom 25.

I cannot get the sound from ProTools using the Axiom 25. I have looked and tried to toggle anything that might be used to make this work. I have restarted my computer and restarted Pro Tools.

I am sure there are some things that need to be toggled or untoggled...but I don't know what.

I am new to this...my 9 1/2 year old son is wanting to learn this and I am learning on the fly. The store in which I purchased this didn't have time to help me (despite spending $1000 yesterday). I am beyond frustration. Please go easy on me.

I am am having a hard time with Axiom working. It seems like I can walk away from the computer (for fear of throwing it through the window) with it working...come back and now it's not working.
