Default Where are the Promised AAX-DSP Plugins??

Avid promised during the PT10 release hoopla that "many more" AAX-DSP plugins would be included with the system. In fact, Avid included very VERY few. For those of us who believed them and purchased HDX, we're stuck with what amounts to a very expensive boat anchor.

I contacted Avid this week through three different channels and asked this question and was simply blown off. No information whatsoever. As usual.

Avid, when are you going to actually release "many more" AAX-DSP plugins and how are you going to notify your users that they are available?

I too would like to know what new AAX- DSP plug ins are on the way and when.
This next week is NAMM where Avid has a booth. I would expect some answers then.

I think we can anticipate some fresh offerings at NAMM.

False.
Waves did not say that.
Just see the other posts and the answer i got from them.
If there is demand, they will do it.
I understand that they have a LOT of plugin to code!
So, just keep emailing them, if you want to have AAX DSP plugs

In fact, they said that they did not decided if they'll pick it up with DSP support.

I never saw anywhere that they would not support it.

Hmmmm. Why does thee tout such negative commentary about HDX???

If you hate AVID for putting it out fine. Those of us that have it and use it would like to use this forum to talk about it.

Back to the original question, I'd like to hear shortly from AVID about the plan. Not happy that many of the plugs that came with it have to be purchased.

Carl

Is there a source for what was promised? I don't recall anything about bundles of AAX DSP plug-ins being included with the cards. Sure I think anyone who buys the system should get pretty much everything they make…
