Default The other $99... bonus plugins

Just want to make sure, as I already purchased the one-year subscription to PT12 (at $99).

If I choose to buy the ''plug-ins and service'' (the ''other'' $99 package subsription):

1) does it include ELEVEN and... what is the difference between ''Eleven Rack'' and... ''Eleven effects'' ? (is the latter a sub-part of the former ? Is it still usable for guitar tones ? Is is worth ?...)

2) As I kept PT 11 on my desktop, will I be able to use those bonus plug-ins on PT11 ? (I understand I now have a licence for 10/11/12 on the iLok). Both my macbook (now with PT12) and desktop (with PT11) are working with the iLok.

3) What happen if I decide next year not to renew this ''renting'' ? Stop working ? Can I still use PT 11 ?

If you discontinue the support plan, it discontinues those "included" plugins, yes.

I had this question as well, and it was explained in post #34 here:

http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=374684&page=4

Seems you get perpetual licenses for Eleven and Smack! Don't know about the other "bonus" plug-ins. They may expire at the end of the license.

BTW, the "Eleven Rack" is the hardware version while "Eleven Effects" is the plug-in. I already own an Eleven Rack, so I didn't see much benefit in buying the extra plug-in and support package, especially as I will likely never need telephone support. Hey, that's what the DUC is for, right? YMMV.

The Eleven Rack is a physical hardware unit that contains Amp models and effects.

Eleven Effects are guitar based effects (distortion, delay, chorus, ect...) that were originally made for the Eleven Rack, and earlier this year were made available as single plugins for Pro Tools.

Eleven or Eleven MKII is a software version of guitar amps, no effects.

The Eleven Rack is, again, a physical hardware unit that is a combination of guitar amps and effects.

I've done a review of sorts about MKII and how it compares to the Eleven Rack and also mention the Eleven Effects in the video. Also it contains a long rant about what Eleven MKII should have been IMNSHO

Ok purchased this... )Thank Avid for having me install 17 plug-ins one by one rather than a single file !...)

However, am I supposed to see anything called ''Eleven'' or all those ''BBD Delay Plug In'', ''Black SHiny Wah Plug-In'', ''Gray Compressor'', and so on (17) are ''part of'' Eleven ??...

Or am I missing Eleven with that stand-alone $99 upgrade (aside of the other ''PT12 upgrade'' also at $99 which I already had purchased ?

Not clear...

If my support plan doesn't expire until Mar 2016 do I have to do anything before 12/31 to "lock" in the $99 deal?
