mpc1000 and monitoring with mbox2

Let me start with what I have and what I want to do. My equipment: intel mac running protools LE, mbox2, mpc1000, 2 technics sl-1210"s, vestax pmc07, and m-audio studio-pro4 monitors. I would like to run my turntables through the mpc to the mbox, and hook up my monitors. The only way I've seen is to run the mpc and the monitors through a mixer then into the mbox. Is there any other way. I'm new to recording, and kind of went in blindly.
