Default No Record Enable Button Appears

I'm trying to use PT-Free with a Lombard (Bronze) Powerbook. After choosing an Aux-mono track, the window appears, but with no Record Enable button, and thus I'm stuck. I've tried using both the built-in mic and an external one. At one point I got an error message saying that perhaps my hard drive was too fragmented. But I've de-fragmented it and still no Record button. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Default Re: No Record Enable Button Appears

you need to create an audio track, not an aux track. an aux track cannot record.
