Any suggestions on what to go with? Obviously budget is a concern, and the MC2000 by McDsp looks like the most cost efficient one I have seen. Does anyone have one they recommend?
My room is ultra-bright from 3k-5k. I need a multi-band to deal with this brightness on female vocals. |

don't forget the c4 or even the c1 w/sidechain for your female voc.

Personally I think either the 2000 or the 4000 would be an absolutely fantastic choice. I use the 4000 a whole bunch.

I've used all of the above plugins. They all work well. I use the Waves c4 when i have a time crunch or i have to make adjustments on the fly. The ml4000 can sound better but it takes more time/tweaking to get it just right. My pa can get harsh in the same range with female vocals.
