Playback at double speed / higher speed in LE?

Is it possible to have smooth playback in Pro Tools at double speed or a user selectable higher speed? I'm aware that it *is* possible to playback at half speed. And I have set my shuttle lock in preferences to 200%, but that yields more like a CD scan feature than a true playback at higher speed. Plug-ins that offer this option are not terrible useful in my case... I need to be able to quickly check continuity of files before they are delivered to air.

I am confused as to the purpose. In any case, if you clock to an external clock source and up the clock speed, your session will play back fast. IOW, a session recorded at 44.1K will play back faster if you clock to 48K (in theory, 88.2K should make it double speed) but pitch will go up as well.

There's only half-speed, nothing faster than normal-time playback is available.
