I love my Echo Duals. Don't move 'em around at all, though. I got the 2TB internal on my Studio Ultra. I would ask the folks at Sonnet about moving them and what precautions to take. They seem pretty rugged, though. And there are no moving parts.
I absolutely love my new setup.
