Default Required software extensions are missing???

I just got a new Mac Book Pro (very exciting).....just connected my older M-Box......I installed 7.4 on the new Mac Book.....tried opening Pro-Tools for the first time....

REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXTENSIONS ARE MISSING ????

that's the error box I got....it also said something about...

click here and you will be connected to the PACE website where an Installer can be download?????

Huh?......and when I clicked..nothing...it just sent me to the internet...no site...HELP????

I wanna get down on Pro-Tools........UGHH!!!

new as in it came with Snow Leopard (10.6.x) as the installed OS?

older mBox as in first generation?

yes...10.6.3

the M-Box is OLD.......VERY old......but in great shape...it works fine on my old MAC.....

what am I missing..????

if it helps...the M-Box is v6.1 OSX/5.2.1...I must have bought it...9-10 years ago??? maybe less..maybe more.....??

a) you need 8.0.3 or newer for 10.6, 7.4 is totally unsupported in 10.6
b) original mBox will not work with any version newer than 8.0.1

you might get 8.0 to work but it's not supported

you will probably need to buy a new mBox
I would buy a new mBox over paying for the 8.0 upgrade then not being satisfied and buying a new mBox that will come with new software
