Re: Dark Theme in Pro Tools 2020.11
Just having fun with the youtube method posted by a kvr member(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBPzGtgMbbg), transport is now a nicer gradient and I was just messing with a green gradient on the timecode background, not final but just messin around. Still trying to find which files are the buttons

Re: Dark Theme in Pro Tools 2020.11
Im sure the edit window has already been discussed to death so I won't touch on that.
BUT THE FULL PIANO ROLL/MIDI EDITOR...WOOF. I spend 90 percent of my time in the full midi piano roll on pro tools. I know it like the back of my hand. But in Dark mode I can't even tell which note I'm on. I have to trace back to the left just to see which note is highlighted. |

Re: Dark Theme in Pro Tools 2020.11
I appreciate all the positive comments about Dark Mode, and agree that it could be easier than Classic on certain eyes. I've tried my best to like it, using the very narrow customization range provided. Still don't like it... Too stark, garish, harsh for my eyes and gives me the impression of clutter.
For those who find Dark Mode easy on their eyes, they should take a look at Studio One and maybe they'll agree that's a super implementation of the idea. Solid balance of contrast and clarity, and maybe the edges of text have been softened by default, offering a very smooth visual experience (not talking about the GUI layout here, just how easy it is to read stuff). I never have to strain. I think Avid could do a lot to improve the Dark Mode experience for more people across the board.

That aligns with how I sensed it.

I use Imgur https://imgur.com/ for hosting photos and screenshots it's free and simple. Note I have found to make screen shots actually more clear (from my studio older Apple Cinema Display) I have no clue why, but I scale it down in resolution usually two steps Then this is what I get from Imgur hosting
