Default Am I The Only One Whose 7.3 Upgrade Went OK?

So far no posts, other than mine that all went fine.

Of course we can expect to hear from those who had
"issues", whatever and however they have occured but
I am also curious to hear from those who DIDN'T have
any issues.

Thanks!

spkguitar...

BTW thanks for the link to the M-Audio site on the 7.3 debut...

Thats where I got mine and everything went fine. I think that
maybe some folks are not completely reading the process steps
or familiar with the ILOK process.

Then there is also the probability there were issues at the D/L
and ILOK sites like getting overwhelmed by the volume.

Beats me...maybe we got lucky and are anomolies...

tho I doubt it.

There were/are legitimate problems with the download process. Luckily, I didn't experience them, but I feel for the people who did (some of them are close friends).

I haven't seen a release botched this badly in a long time.

spkguitar....

Oh I agree! I suspect that the anticipated end of Nov
release coming and going and then the release a week
later had a "pent up" demand...

Looks like capacity/bandwidth may have been the culprit.

I am baffled tho at some of the error message folks were
getting...we may have been subject to a short, not so funny
sequence of events and errors.

Licensing and install went smooth for me as well. Had to contend with capacity issues the next day while trying to synchronize and download the iLok license for Melodyne plug-in. But that's an iLok.com issue.

Not sure if I have to apply the Music Production Toolkit 7.3 upgrade, everything seems to be working in that respect.
