Best iPad Apps for Pro Tools with HUI
I am on OS 10.14.6 Mojave, maxed out 2018 Mac Mini, Pro Tools 2019.6. I was just given a like-new 2015 iPad Pro. I use Mackie control surfaces (MCU and 2 x Extn Modules). What are the best iPad apps for running Pro Tools with my configuration?

I am only aware of 2; Avid Control(which is free) that runs via Eucon and Neyrinck V-Control. AFAIK, you can use both HUI andEucon together(works here with Avid Control and a Presonus Faderport). Look at both. Traditionally, Eucon will have tighter integration as HUI is getting old and seems to have more limitations(but I have not tried V-Control)

Do you use Avid Control and Eucon? If you do not have any Avid control surfaces but want to control Pro Tools, do you still install both Avid Control and Eucon?

Yes and it is free. Both programs. You need an Avid account to register eucontrol apps and download Avid Control from appstore to ipad. And a Wifi connection for ipad with Control app to talk to the computers eucon software.
