Default M-Box is acting weird again...

Im questioning the stabilty of Pro Tools & M-Box. Sometimes I can open up the program with no problems at all. I can open up a session, close it, and open up another session with no problems at all. This will last for months! And sometimes I get these days where I cant have 1 session open longer than 1 minute without the damn thing quitting on me. I try to do all the trouble shooting stuff like trash this and that and repair permissions, but that hardly ever works. I noticed that the more I just keep trying to open a session the longer it stays on without quitting. Like the program needs to warm-up or something. Then when I get it working, it works fine. Does anyone experience the same problem? It gets kinda annoying when you have a nice PowerBook G4 and a Pro Tools program, and when its time to do some recording you have deal with this embarassing problem.

Are you also doing all the OS X-type stuff, i. e.. repair permissions, etc?

Do you use something like Jaguar/Panther Cache Cleaner?

If you're putting your Mac to sleep or shutting it down at night, do you use Macjanitor or something similar to clean up the log files?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Pro Tools? Is it also possible that you have two copies of the same version of Pro Tools installed?

Is your USB cable OK?
