003rack Digirack plugins missing after upgrade to 7.4
Helllo
Can someone advise me how to get the chorus and flanger plugins back... I opened a ticket with support no reply...3 weeks ago I have checked around apparently, the digirack suite plugins is incorporated in the PT install, but since 7.3 I lost these specific plugins. I am running 003 rack on G5 1.8 single processor with 1.5m ram. 7.4 LE The flanger and chorus dpm files are there in the folder (with all the other dpm's) but these plugins do not appear in the track inserts for use. I want to resolve this issue because I maybe unaware of any others problems. Thanks john |

Re: 003rack Digirack plugins missing after upgrade to 7.4
With 7.4 you should update to cs2. After that in the download area you can find some plugin update file, you may need them. If none of those works, than try the tech support utility, which can trash your prefs and databases. Even you can download those plugins' installers and try to reinstall them.
Report back how your troubleshooting goes. Tamas Dragon

The installation process gives you an option to install only the plugins, or fix a wrong installation.

Re: 003rack Digirack plugins missing after upgrade to 7.4
Ok I see progress actually happening now,
I did the cs update ages ago, Im not sure which is the plugin installer on the digidesign website for the digirack audiosuite.. as I thought it was installed during the PTle 7.4 install (built in the software). AND I DO NOT have chorus.rsr or chorus.dpm.rsr so How do I get that ? generated if not via 7.4 install??? FYI I am on mac using 10.4.xx latest (tiger) thanks for your assist here guys... John |

Quote:
Second - the 7.4 installer should install DigiRack plug-ins. Try running the installer again and make sure the DigiRack plug-ins are checked during the install. You can check if the plug-ins are installed by going to MacHD>Library>Application Support>Digidesign>Plug-Ins. If the plug-ins are in that folder, then you should try trashing preferences so that the plug-in data can be re-cached. |
