HD Native can't connect with Omni

I have no doubt I'm simply missing a step or some other user error.

Here's my trouble.

HD Native card installed, Pro Tools HD installed (10.1.2), Omni plugged in and working. When I launch PT the HD interface is grayed out and I can't connect (under Preferences and/or I/O setup).

I've rebooted, reinstalled, faced Mecca, and stood on one foot.

Any thoughts?

Are all the buttons and attenuators functioning on the Omni?

Try reflashing the Firmware and do a DigiTest.

My Omni has days when it doesn't want to work and I run a Digitest and it seems fine for a few days. Might have to do with the non volatile memory?

Also, try reconnecting everything.

I wish there was a combination of buttons I could press when I was booting up the Omni that would reset it...Digi?

Have you tried to use another slot for the HD Native card? That was what helped me after hours of headache. I now have the card in slot 3, although the directions say to install it in slot 2. That did it for me. I needed to update the firmware too, but now it works fine.

Apologies for not checking back in folks. I guess I have email disabled on the thread. I did get the problem fixed.

handklang, you had the right fix.

Very weird that swapping bays for the Native card fixed it, but there you go.

I now have more stupid questions, but will post another thread. Thanks for the replies.
