Default new install, how do i enable cueing in ableton live with mbox2?

i am on a winxp machine.

i don't see outputs 3/4 on my mbox in my ableton preferences...

What version of PT do you have installed, or are you just using the Digidesign ASIO driver alone without PT installed? The PT version will tell us which version of the ASIO driver you're running.

On another note, there is a better ASIO driver that works with Digidesign USB hardware other than Digi's own ASIO driver. It gives accurate latency reporting to the host and even a buffer of 32, which is something the DigiASIO driver cant do. I have seen this confirmed by other users to work with USB based Mbox hardware. Some of these users mentioned that it does unintsall the DigiASIO driver so keep that in mind if you venture into this new territory.

Is ASIO selected as Driver Type and the Mbox 2 is displayed in Audio Device?
