Try adding a dither plugin on the insert before the Sansamp.

This known denormalization issue is supposed to be fixed in PT8. What version are you running? And as stated above the dither plug-in inserted before the SansAmp is a workaround for this.

Tom, I'm using PT 8.0.3 and I'm dealing with the same problem. I get the 9128 error when using the Sans Amp plugin on a bass track. Take it out and the problem goes away. I'll try the workaround but there appears to be a bug somewhere that needs to be addressed in the next PT version.

This issue is actually with the Plug-in and it has haunted us for years. Do the workaround and don’t hold your breath for a fix.

This is really....... really sad. This plugin is giving some many rookies (like me) terrible user experiences. I'm really shocked a company can get away with delivering a plugin like this that has denormilization issues. I would have preffered they just left it out of the box. Sadly, the reason for my frustration is I've wasted months trying to figure out this problem.

BTW: I'm also finding this error still in PT 8.0.4, however the Eleven Free is a pretty decent out of the box alternative.
