What if you only using one midi device, do I need a multiclient midi interface or will the DIGI interface work with sound diver.

No. You need a multiclient interface because more than one program is going to share the MIDI interface. In this case PT LE and Sound Diver. Digi interface is NOT multiclient. MIDISPORT 4 X 4 is.

Default Re: sound diver

forgive me guys but I'm still confused on how sound diver will help me while I use ProtoosLE. When I'm recording a midi track with PTLE, I click on the "P" to bring up the sounds of my synths (XP-50m, MR-75, NS5R, TG-500), how will sond diver help me in recognizing the "LSB or MSB" codes to enter and get the sound I need from my synth. Please explain. Again I'm sorry dor being so ignorant about the issue, but it's so so so important to me that I'm very very very interested. thanks in advanced for the instructions and education on the subject.

It won't. You will change your programs and everything else form Sound Diver. You will have both programs open. That is why you need a multiclient interface.

It's all explained at the link above. Just click on it.
