Massive Pack question

I just got a Digi postcard about Massive Pack 3 that said only ProTools|HD owners can qualify for this product. Other advertising on the Digi site seems to suggest that you have to be an Accel owner to qualify. Which is true?

To get the software only bundle, you must be a registered PTHD Accel customer. If you only have a PTHD system you would have to buy the MassivePack Pro 3 which includes an Accel card.

That's what I originally thought too, but the Digi postcard says otherwise. It says that you just have to be a ProTools HD owner to qualify.

You might be able to fight it if the postcard says otherwise but if you take a look at the announcement on the website if specifically says "Available for current and new Pro Tools|HD Accel system owners" in reference to the software only bundle.

Not in yet - order went in at first mention of it. Really could use it for Tuesday's session, too. Might have to postpone!!

My dealer told me that I might be able to expect mine this week when I talked to him last week. I had also called Digi before I placed my order and they said they would be shipping soon so I imagine they will be shipping any day now.

Ordered mine about 2 weeks ago and my dealer thought it would be here LAST week ;-)
So who really knows ?

Good questions regarding who is eligible for what. The Massive Pack 3.0 software-only bundle is available only to registered owners of Pro Tools|HD Accel systems. Massive Pack Pro 3.0 can be purchased by either Accel or non-Accel Pro Tools HD system owners.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion.

Hi Sophia,

We have begun shipping Massive Pack orders as of Friday. This is actually ahead of schedule - We had originally announced to our dealers that we would not begin shipping orders until Monday, September 20.
