Loses connection with 002r when importing audio
Using the "import audio" window to preview audio and import audio, works intermittently but never for very long, suddenly loses connection with 002r, 1394 light goes out on front of 002r, and the error is:
Could not complete your request because: Assertion in "Cfd_DirectIODevice.cpp", line 425 It forces me to shut down and relaunch Pro Tools. I have run through all the troubleshooting steps, I'm using 7.1 cs10, PowerMac G5 with the 002r plugged into the firewire port on the front of the machine. I had this problem before and after replacing the power harness. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 7.1. This is my only issue with 7.1 and I use it 8 hours a day with no other glitches. Thanks. |
