PT restart need after closing sessions

Hi,

Wondering if anybody else is having this issue with PT 2022 on a Mac M1?

If I am woking on a session, then save and close (without quitting PT, just using the Close Session command), I am unable to open a new session without restarting PT. This happens about 30-40% of the time. I don't get an error message, but clicking on the ptx file I want to open causes nothing to happen.
