Am I stupid? No Waves plugins after update.

For some reason my Waves plugins don't show up in PT11. I've updated/upgraded both PT to 11 and Waves as well. What am I missing here?

Double-check that you have installed Waves V9r13 first and then the WavesHell update. Once done, go to Waves License Center and be sure your computer is authorized. Then start PT11 and the plugs should be there.

Prior to running the Waves AAX Native installers above, make sure you have installed:

Waves V9 plugins - download V9r13 here. ----look for this on the link above...

The AAX Shell. is not an install, just drag it to the AAX plugins folder as shown.

Its done that way for 10.3.7 and 11.0.1 co-install.

AAX Shell . . please I was working on my system and I saw nothing of the sort in the area Waves would have the update downloads.

I totally missed that also.

This seems really strange for a company that has been "working" really hard to update their products to AAX.

I installed waves last night and never found my plugins in PT.

Everything these days is like pulling teeth . . its rare to have a simple update that plays well with everything. We spend way to much time screwing with repeated software installs, and not writing music.

If the person who wrote the instructions on the Waves download site worked for me, he'd be an ex employee.

Thanks, for pointing out the AAX shell download. It sure never registered in my mind. Spent yesterday afternoon trying to figure out what was wrong.

I 2nd that - I was pulling my hair out for over an hour before I figured out the AAX shell was a separate installer and where to find it. Having said that, I'm really really happy with the instances and low cpu usage I'm seeing with many instantiations of various waves plugins on HD Native with PT 11 HD. The sound quality to me is also better.
