Are there issues with HEAT on HDX in 11?

I've tried to search this, but mostly get threads about actual heat and fans. I'm mixing my first session and HEAT is grayed out on about half the tracks. At first I thought it was just tracks I had routed to my 2nd interface, a 192 i/o but that's not it. Is this user error or a bug?

HI,

Heat only works on audio tracks? are the tracks audio tracks? or aux's/instrument tracks etc.

To be honest i can't remember what the heat view looks like on non audio tracks, but maybe thats it.

Anything else unique about these tracks where heat is greyed out?

I haven't seen this here. HEAT is working in PT11 as it is in PT10.

I have noticed some irregularities when importing from an older version, but restarting HEAT seems to alleviate this issue entirely.

All audio tracks. I've had Heat since it first came out. It's weird because its showing on all tracks but the p and b are grayed out and its not showing any heat activity.

I took a screen shot of the mix window. Anyone see anything I'm missing. Outputs 1-16 is the Avid HD i/o and the other outputs are routed through a 192 i/o. But that doesn't seem to be it. Nor does it seem to be the tracks that have read automation. Am I missing something obvious?

Your screen shot does not show track type on the bottom of the tracks. AUX and Audio tracks look and behave quite the same way, but only Audio tracks get HEAT. There is no way anyone can say what's going on in your screenshot.

Everything that shows HEAT at the top the track is audio. That's the only tracks HEAT ever appears on in the mix window.

Yep, you're right, this does not seem right to me...

HEAT should be available for audio tracks, not other tracks, but it beats me why some of the audio tracks are greyed out. Can you please check system usage to see if there's available resources for it?
