Re: MC transport jogwheel precision in logic
Quote:
I've programmed the Transport softkeys for all the jog functions and the Control softkeys for software functions. The only solution I found to get smooth movement in Logic is: 1) Add shortcuts for "move forward by one frame" and "move backward by one frame", in Preferences-->Keyboard Shortcuts. I use the French version so the command may be named differently. 2) Set up a custom wheel command by double-clicking on the Jog wheel in the Eucontrol software Wheel Section. Mine are "Ctrl-Alt-Cmd =" for Turn Jog Right and "Ctrl-Alt-Cmd -" for Turn Jog Left (corresponding with the Logic Shortcuts) 3) Add this new wheel command to a softkey in the Surface Section preferably on the first page of your Control (I suggest to the right, nearest to the Jog Wheel as possible) I didn't get around to program my control unit, I need to change the content and order in which the softkeys pages appear to go with my work flow. It would save hours if one could only drag them around instead of having to redo them. |
