simultaneous optical & spdif inputs
I am using my old ADAT as inputs to the D001, does this mean I can't use the spdif input at the same time (for a hardware reverb for example)? Which clock would you set as the master.
Any suggestions/insight.... |

Re: simultaneous optical & spdif inputs
Kenny,
You can use both the ADAT optical and spdif inputs at the same time. Only one device can be the master clock, though. Black face ADATs can't sync to external clock and must be the master when using their analog inputs. They also default to 48khz. I don't know about XT's So, Digi001 and your spdif device must have their clocks set to "external". Good luck, Jeff D. [This message has been edited by Jeff D. (edited April 09, 2000).] |

Re: simultaneous optical & spdif inputs
To use ADAT lightpipe you must set PTs to optical sync. Otherwise you will get timing spikes in with your adat converted audio tracks.
