Waves Gray screen in a testing leopard system?
Any of the testing folks using Waves 5.9.7 get it working in Leopard?
Although unsupported I get all but Waves and TC Tools working of my plug-ins. No waves reply so I'll check in here. Just wuped and got wooped... BTW , Toast8 (AU) Waveburner, Logic Studio.. None of these work. All I get is a gray Plug-in window in all apps. ATI X850-XT video card. Reinstalled, trashed prefs. ect. Reebuilttt Perrrmissionsssss (Ouch) Leopard is running on an external FW test drive. |

BTW, support for a lot of TC stuff was dropped long ago, so best to just eliminate it from your system and move on. |

Re: Waves Gray screen in a testing leopard system?
Just setting up a new Macbook pro (10.5.2) with PTLE 7.4.2 and I finally bit the bullet and got WUPed for my Platinum and GTR plugs. All works fine here without any problems, but I didn't have any previous Waves software installed.
I'm just running from the one internal drive, so the fact you're running from a fw drive might have something to do with it. Of course, the usual suspects (most NI plugs, Arturia and Korg) soft synths don't want to play, but I expected that. Best regards Warren www.warrengreveson.com www.myspace.com/warrengreveson |
