mojo pictures flashes

I'm seeing the bottom half of the picture flash every couple of seconds during playback, the video is running of an internal drive and my audio from an external scsi drive. There's nothing else firewire attatched. The system is a new dual 2.7 G5, 2gb ram. any ideas? of and I've got black & burst hooked up to everything PAL. Anyone else get this?
