The ballot is lengthy and seemed to lean heavily toward online collab and post services integration, but that could be because of the boxes I checked earlier in the process.

I like the idea that it's off of the DUC and not a quick and easy survey. I feel like it makes it less likely that you get a bunch of knee jerk responses from people who are pissed about an error message they're seeing, or the fact that there's something about PT they can't currently figure out.

Yes a lot of stuff about VR, worryingly.

I hope they're not going to invest massive man hours on that rather than adding the workflow enhancements and bug fixes we've been asking for for decades.

I would much prefer a more bug free PT over any new features.

I'd consider it $99 well spent if 12.7 turned out to be literally nothing but bug fixes.

The problem with VR is that it is VERY labor intensive. People have been dabbling with it for three decades but the problem hasn't really been technology. It's the normal variations in human perception.

I would gladly pay $99 per year just for bug fixes. And then another $99 when some new feature that I want is released.

This ^^^ specially now that it seems like I discover one bug a day and they keep accumulating update after update

I can think offhand of (4) instances since Ideascale started in which I posted a bug, Avid got in touch with me and they fixed it pretty quickly.

Ideascale works. Is it the place to implement revolutionary new features? Probably not. But for the regular stuff, it's great.

Same here. But it's not a marketing friendly "feature"...
