G4 Freeze with Digi001
I have a problem starting up a new PowerMac G4 Dual 1GHz "Mirrored Doors" while DigiSystemInit from ProTools 5.1 loads up in OS9.2.
Does anybody know if it can be solved with the use of ProTools 6 in OSX? Thanks.

Snowdog,
have you taken it back to Apple for a motherboard replacement?I have heard that is the only solution.How old is the Mac,there were two releases of that model.Let us know what happens. Ray

i had the same problems...but everything works fine now.-)
hanging at the digi system init is probably the motherboard. the mac not starting up at all is the powersupply take it back to your apple dealer and let them replace the motherboard.
